For the third year running, Abbot Ale has teamed up with the Daily Telegraph and Classic FM to find your Perfect Pubs. From village locals and city centre bars, you have voted for pubs of every size and character, reflecting the diversity and richness of the Nation's Perfect Pubs. And that's where our hard work began, as we had to assess the best cask, food, family pubs and pub hosts across 11 regions in England, Scotland and Wales before we could choose the Perfect Pubs.
This year the awards were even bigger and better than before. Winners were chosen in four different categories – Perfect Cask Pub, Perfect Food Pub, Perfect Family Pub and Perfect Pub Host with one lucky pub crowned Overall Winner of the Abbot Ale Perfect Pub Awards 2007. In all the categories we saw some really outstanding pubs from up and down the country, making it a tough round of final decisions. To help select the winners from all of your votes, we called on some familiar names to help with the judging.
